Spun Mud

I can not wait to see the work of ceramic artist Bec Lindemann in person on Saturday. I have an absolute love of ceramics that often finds me standing still simply holding a mug or bowl in my hands - it makes me feel at peace and so so happy.

I'm teaching tomorrow so have scheduled a few more posts on the talent that will be part of the market on Saturday.

Kimono Reincarnate

Snippets of vintage kimono preserved under resin and framed in silver. These stunning pendants are by Melanie from Kimono Reincarnate. This little stall is always filled with materials and creations that speak of Japan.

You will find the Kimono Reincarnate stall in the Saint Augustine Church Grounds on Saturday from 9am - 2pm.

enticing icing

Edible sugar creations by enticing icing. Hearts, stars, birds, pirates..custom orders - all made fresh to order.

Come by the BiDM on Saturday to see these little gems for yourself.

Flight Industries

I'm having sooooo much fun. I've had a very busy start to the year and haven't had a lot of time for blogging or catching up on what my fellow bris Style members have been up to. I'm loving these PDF files of 'TO DO' lists by artist Sally Flynn of Flight Industries. There is a great interview with Sally over at Printsy which gives an interesting insight into the inspiration and practices behind her work. If you would prefer to meet her in person then come along to the bris Style Indie Market..

THIS Saturday March 6th!
Racecourse Road, Saint Augustine's Church Hall & Grounds, Hamilton.

Little Mary Moo

I've written about Little Mary Moo before because I just love these little purses! Made with mostly Australian screen printed fabrics they make lovely & useful gifts as they are or filled with little treasures like lip gloss, hairbands or jewellery. They are extremely well made, lined and beautifully tactile. These usually sell very quickly so head to the Bris Style Indie Market early this Saturday to snap up a couple.

Saint Augustine's Church Hall and Grounds.
Racecourse Road, Hamilton. 9am - 2pm.

I mentioned in the previous post there will be coffee...lots of fantastic cafes line Racecourse Road so it's just a matter of choosing where to purchase your morning shot.
